100% Whey Crisp Bar Review

If you’re wondering whether or not protein bars can be considered post-workout supplements, they most certainly can be.
Not only that, but protein bars can be considered pre-workout supplements or during-workout supplements (if there is such a thing) as well.
After all, that is one of the beauties that a protein bar has to offer – its effects are constant no matter what time of the day you take it.
Now then, there are plenty of other perks associated with the use of protein bars – as well as some downsides depending on which product you purchase.
In this review, we’re going to focus our attention on one protein bar in particular, named the 100% Whey Crisp Bar. Manufactured by a company called, Optimum, this protein bar has been designed to be nutritious, affordable, tasty and convenient.
Does it follow through with all these claims, or does it fall short somewhere along the line?
What Does This Product Do?
To begin, the 100% Whey Crisp Bar has not only been marketed to athletes and regular gym-goers alike, but to everybody in general.
Whether you’re currently overweight and trying to slim down, or already in great shape and looking for extra energy at the gym, you’re led to believe that this product can make a difference in your life.
Simply put, this protein bar serves as a healthy food choice and snack that can be used as a pick-me-up during the day, to fight cravings or as an anabolic precursor.
Speaking of muscle gain, this product has also been designed to specifically enhance an athlete’s motor before working out, and to speed a body’s recovery time afterward.
And of course, it does all this via a great-tasting cookie that you can easily indulge in.
What Does The Product Have Going For It?
Moving on then, you may be wondering just how nutritional this protein bar really is.
In answer to that question, its ingredient label suggests that this product, indeed, is quite the healthy food choice.
More specifically, you’ll find that the 100% Whey Crisp Bar contains 25 grams of whey protein, 34 grams of carbs, 1 gram of fiber and 4.5 grams of essential fats. Further, it omits the use of trans fats and tries to cut back on sugar(6 g), cholesterol(30 mg) and sodium(100mg).
To say the least, there is at least some nutritional value contained in this protein bar.
And as for the 34 grams of carbs found in each serving/bar of this product, you may be interested to know that this does not include just one form of carbs…but rather a variety of fast- and slow-absorbing forms.
To this extent, we now understand why the 100% Whey Crisp Bar serves as both a pre-workout primer and a post-workout mechanism.
Finally, although we haven’t tried this protein bar for ourselves, numerous reviews have given it a good to exceptional taste rating. You can purchase this product in two different flavors, including Double Rich Chocolate and Marshmallow Treat.
As for its cost, expect to pay about $26 for a box of 12 servings/bars. This amounts to about $2 a bar – which isn’t cheap, but not expensive either.
Should I Try This Product?
Wrapping things up, we highly recommend the use of this product if you an afford its price tag.
The 100% Whey Crisp Bar is as advertised, which is saying something in this day and age when marketing is normally able to mask major flaws found beneath the surface of many products.
